I just retired as federal worker, working at CG headquarters in DC. I loved working for the CG, but they’ve been bought out by Trump. Gifted $7 billion in trumps BBB the CG didn’t ask for. But they have plenty of ideas on how to spend. Broke my heart seeing senior CG leadership fawning over this.

I'm a member of AFGE, even though I'm retired now. But, seeing this crap from AFGE pisses me off, and makes me wonder why I continue being a union member.

It’s not legal. The president cannot just decide to redirect funds congress has or hasn’t allocated. Whoever the finance officer is who signs off on redirecting these funds - they have to know they are acting illegally.
