As a Galaxy fan, I have a good feeling about this acquisition. I can't prove it, but it just has the contours of a diamond-in-the-rough discovery

I disagree that Inter and Real are equally stupid. Real is more stupid since we don't have royalty in the US (for now at least). Inter being short for some word that is a cognate of international is still cheesy but applicable to Miami which is something of an international type city (and cub).

-Invite you to play...(and tell you why helpful to a podcaster)
-See if COG might want to have a league or leagues it promotes on Discord (and/or pod)?
-See if you would ever want to do a short segment on one COG about the game and the 1000+ LAG fans who play

The purpose of the trailer is to generate interest in watching the show. Fair enough if you say "I don't see my team represented so I think I will skip the documentary." But the people making the documentary probably want to prioritize telling compelling stories, not making everyone "feel seen."

It's a one minute trailer. So if you want it to include every team, that's 2 seconds per team. I watched it again after reading your comment. I think there are images of about 15 teams. So there are lots of ways to create categories of omission: no Texas teams, no Rocky Mountain teams, etc

Or the other way around....Messi brought in to help Apple grow its sports brands which was close to starting from scratch. It has been clear too that Apple is using MLS to figure out elements of production.

I have seen that but also some librarians talking about Masters in Library Science programs. But definitely more Myles Lewis-Skelly. Chalking it up to growing pains for @bsky.app for now

3) promote products that drive TV viewership...example: 11+ million people play EPL fantasy, only 20K people play MLS Fantasy (3/3)

2/3)
...so MLS should
1) increase size of stadia and build hometown/regional team loyalty
2) keep improving the soccer (live fans clearly love it) and the TV production (also market TV better)
and...

You are right. In fact our health non-system is terrible because it's so much about making money.

Uh, I think whoever did this forgot that Leo Messi should be in a USMNT jersey

It's a story that involved improvement unhindered by focus on other competitions. A gifted attack that further refined itself as the season progressed. And a defense that saw a dramatic upgrade with a revelation of a center back named Emiro Garces, a 22 yo Colombian. No one let LA win. They won.
