That’s a fair question. The original Moana was an unexpected treat, but it had the heat of Dwayne Johnson and Lin-Manuel Miranda propelling it to being a thing I’m sure Disney had high hopes for. Knowing the sequel started out as a Disney+ original adds to the “Who saw this coming”perception.
