Happy 56th anniversary to Sesame Street! I was lucky to get to meet the man behind Big Bird and Oscar, Caroll Spinney, a few years back. I also got to see a lot of screen used puppets when the Jim Henson exhibit came to Seattle. I hope you get a chance to celebrate the show today!

FINALLY found the Muppet boxes of Count Chocula and Boo Berry! I hope I can still find Frankenberry, but I'm happy to at least have these two!

There was a little horror car show too! They had the screen-used Macabre Mobile, and a replica of the Plymouth from Christine.

I got to work WA State Horror Con this weekend! It was just the push I needed to get this Halloween season back on track. It was so great meeting Chris Sarandon, Michael Gross, and Felissa Rose!

I still haven't seen the the Muppet General Mills Monster cereals, but I found just about every other Halloween cereal I could think of today. Anyone try any of these yet? What'd you think?

This is one of my favorite games of all time! I loved it as a kid, bought the re-release from Limited Run Games, and I've been lucky to enough to meet the voice of Sam, Bill Farmer, when he came to WA State Summer Con. I got to hear him say "this is a completely unusable thingamabob" in Sam's voice!

I'm combining #vintagetoytuesday and #turtletuesday for this post. Like most people my age this was my first favorite toy line and the figures that got me into collecting. I'm lucky to have these soft head versions of the turtles! #tmnt

I bought this for the novelty, but I'm impressed. This is actually pretty good! Everyone at the cookout agreed. I'd get it again! Have you tried it yet?

I hadn't been to a comic shop in a while, but I had to stop in when I heard they reprinted TMNT Journeys. I've never read it before and I'm looking forward to this!

I haven't seen any of the things you listed yet either, but I'm most looking forward to the Muppet monster cereals. Not sure if you like flamin' hot but I did find these last week.
