This is so fucking cruel. I’m so sorry about your dad, Sarah. He must be a pretty special guy to have raised someone like you.

Education was very important and valued. We got vaccinations in the library. It blows my mind how people have turned insane

Someone really needs to do a study on what happened to Iowa between 2008-now. Went for Obama in ‘08 and ‘12, then something shifted. I really think it’s disinformation. There’s so much tribalism and stupidity now. I left the state in 2011 and when I go back it feels different. Like something’s off.

Well in terms of differentiating who is who, seems like excessive dick measuring is a potential clue.

It doesn’t surprise me there are many vets who, I’d define as being for the country, for the republic, take their oath to the constitution seriously, but I think I’d be surprised if the numbers outweighed the amount of insane and brainwashed.

Yeah obviously want to keep that quiet. I’ve been trying to find any hint of this kind of organization so it’s relieving to hear. If I had experience in that area I’d be there in a heartbeat.

Are we though? I think about this a lot and hope something like this is happening.

Ahh…you’re so right. Thanks for that- needed to hear it

I remember reading that article! So true

I know they’re interrelated. But I get the sense that the two audiences don’t mesh.

I enjoy learning, listening to, and understanding how people think and I have never been so dumbfounded by a population. How can they not see they’re doing exactly what was done to them?

They have the insurance now, so fixes that issue. Other than that it’s ok, they deal w/ this all the time.
February 4, 2025 at 3:55 AM
Ok that’s interesting about cost then. Yeah it sounds like insurance is the factor. I think it’s a good thing you’ll have an in-person appt so you can get on the same page.
February 4, 2025 at 3:49 AM
To me it sounds like she could be unsure which is the priority for you: cost and insurance vs symptom management. Maybe she’s suggesting alternatives bc she thinks cost is priority for you. And about appeal, could be that they didn’t have the referral and insurance info yet?
February 4, 2025 at 3:40 AM
Did your insurance provider change or just a different plan? Bc could be the appeals process is different? It sounds like it’s driven by insurance. Bc if that combo works the best for symptom reduction, there would be no ostensible reason to change the regimen.
February 4, 2025 at 3:28 AM
What’s her reasoning for changing the regimen?
February 4, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Saying exactly that sounds ok to me? I’ve worked in healthcare for years and I’m very good at navigating these things. What you wrote is direct and concise. You know what works and what doesn’t bc it’s based on symptoms. If the only change is insurance though, that could be a factor?
