Today was great, at the start of this drawing I instinctively tried to copy. But I forced myself to reference instead and almost instantly my drawing became more playful.
From here on in I should draw with the mindset “i think it’d look better this way”. Use reference only when lost.

MORE EAR, honestly ears are so fun, they are complex but kinda ugly to begin with, meaning you can warp and shape them in SO many different ways and they will still look like an ear.
Most are from reference, but the bottom bunch are straight from dah head!
