Also - I love the version of Sympathy by Jane’s Addiction from their live album in ‘87 (that whole album is great), but the studio version they recorded for Sons of Anarchy final episode is really good too.

A most excellent follow-up to this is the book “Nuclear War: A Scenario” by Annie Jacobsen. Incredibly written and brilliantly researched w/ her many sources. I even listened to it having already read it, once it was available via Libby. I can’t recommend this one enough. Terrifying and fascinating
