We CONDEMN the violent abduction & beating of Jahid Hussein, a Rohingya refugee from Kutupalong Camp.

Demanding 40,000 Taka ransom is EXPLOITATION of vulnerable populations.

Bangladesh authorities MUST investigate this CRIME & protect refugees' right to movement & safety. #JusticeForRohingya

When aid is reduced, PANIC spreads through the camps IMMEDIATELY. @WFP's commitment is a lifeline we depend on COMPLETELY. We're grateful but also trapped - unable to work, build skills, or create our own security. The hardest part of being a refugee isn't just loss but DEPENDENCY. #RohingyaCrisis

For years, we have felt voiceless. But yesterday, Hon. @ChiefAdviserGoB & @antonioguterres from @UN spoke for 1.2M #Rohingya.

Thank you for your powerful words! Now let’s turn words into action. The world must ensure genocide never repeats! #JusticeForRohingya

Warmly welcoming UNSG @antonioguterres & @ChiefAdviserGoB to our camp on March 14. Your visit brings hope that meaningful changes will follow.

We wish for better living conditions, expanded education, and renewed international commitment to a dignified future for all #Rohingya.

Ramadan is here, and with it comes a chance to renew our faith.

For us Rohingya, it’s a time to pray for justice, for safety, and for a future where our children can thrive.

Wishing to all my #Rohingya scattered across borders and in Muslim communities around the world.

As 1 of millions of Rohingya refugees, I ask you to stand with us this #HumanSolidarityDay. Our children deserve education. Our elders need healthcare. Our youth dream of opportunities. Together, we can build bridges of understanding. Raise your voice. Share our stories. Take action. ✊

On this Victory Day, we, as #Rohingya refugees, express our heartfelt gratitude to this nation for offering us shelter in our darkest hours. Your sacrifices in 1971 inspire us daily.

May the legacy of this victory bring continued peace and prosperity to your land. #BijoyDibosh

ANALYSIS: From NLD's past denial of Rohingya persecution to NUG's current hesitancy to name perpetrators of Buthidaung violence- Myanmar's complex politics continue to compromise clear accountability for crimes against Rohingya communities. #JusticeForRohingya

The appointment of Khalilur Rahman as high representative on the Rohingya issue is a positive move, but it’s only the beginning. Justice for Rohingya genocide survivors requires global unity and decisive action—time is of the essence! #ActForRohingya

Over 400 Rohingya refugees forcibly returned to Myanmar by BGB forces since August 2024. Investigation reveals 6 separate pushback incidents. Bangladesh hosts 1M+ Rohingya, with 700K+ having fled genocide in 2016-17. They need protection, not pushbacks.

Today, 56 individuals (4 Borgwa families & 11 Chakma families) fled to BD seeking protection from #ArakanArmy oppression. The #AA is forcibly conscripting youth, even from its own communities, proving its brutality. This is same #ArakanArmy oppressed #Rohingya, killing thousands in #ArakanState.

As a Rohingya human rights defender, I'm deeply concerned about camp safety. Last night's fire in Block D4 shows again how vulnerable our shelters are. We need:

- Fire-resistant materials
- Better emergency response
- Improved infrastructure

Lives depend on it.

Massive respect to the resilient spirit of the Rohingya community! A fire broke out in D Block of Camp-2W, but Alhamdulillah, it was swiftly brought under control by the community's efforts. Unity and quick action saved the day. Salute to their strength and solidarity!

Every #Rohingya child in Cox's Bazar refugee camp deserves more than just basic survival. They deserve education, safety, and a future with opportunities.

I see their potential every day. The international community must act to protect their rights and futures.

There has been a disturbing trend of violence against anti-criminal figures activists, educated individuals, Majhi, and religious teachers , with the latest tragedy last night occurring in #Rohingya camp 20, where Majhi was ruthlessly murdered by criminal groups. #StopViolenceNow

The power of collective action. #Majhis from various #Rohingya camps are banding together and gathering items from community members to aid the Camp 5 fire #victims. It makes me feel cozy within. Together, lets sustain this spirit and truly make a difference. #SupportFireVictims

Happy New Year 2024 from the world's largest refugee Rohingya camp.

Over the past six years in the camps, 2023 stands out as the deadliest compared to the last five years, with more refugees killed, food allowances cut, and an increase in trafficking.

Hoping for peace in 2024. 🕊️

Devastating update: #Rohingya Camp 11 Block -E witnessed a fire at 2:30 AM, claiming nearly 15 shelters. Many, including widows, are now shelterless in the unforgiving cold of the dry season. The cold nights in this dry season add to their struggles. Let's extend a helping hand.

Disturbing reports emerge of Arakan Army infiltration in a #Rohingya village, cornered by #Junta. Junta responds with indiscriminate shelling upon noticing AA presence. Tragically, a reminiscent incident in #Buthidaung last, where 5 Rohingya from a family #killed, many injured.

Indonesian citizens on social media are contributing to a worrisome trend of hate speech directed at Rohingya refugees. This concerning pattern encompasses an increase in offensive comments, online harassment, and even calls for violent acts against the already vulnerable refugee.

According to a recent report by the #WHO, approximately 40% of #Rohingya refugees residing in Cox's Bazar's #Ukhia and #Teknaf refugee camps are afflicted with #scabies. In certain shelters, the percentage affected exceeds 70%. 👉is.gd/XqLaiM
