I played this as part of r/sbcgaming’s January Game of the Month. I don’t remember this game being so hard when I was a kid. Or scary. Frustrating at times, linear at others. Meet it where it’s at and it’s one of the best games on the GBA. 4.5 unskippable cutscenes out of 5.

This game lets the player experience a milieu of different fears including: plane crashes, the body horror terror of pregnancy, zombies(?), and being French. I give this 4 burnt matches out of 5.

Tested positive for cancer. Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma. I got additional scans and they couldn’t detect any spread. On Feb 11th I had surgery to get it removed. Luckily the margins were good! Still on crutches and likely will be for another couple of weeks.

This was nuts. It felt like playing a DMT trip. Truly an amazing, mind bending puzzle game and is a jaw dropper on an OLED monitor. Took me about 6 hours or so to complete, definitely great to play over a long weekend.

1. Cocoon

I’ve been laid up after surgery for a couple weeks and have been crushing Red Dead Redemption 2. Haven’t really dove in till now and god damn this game is The Sistine Chapel of Software.
