I played this as part of r/sbcgaming’s January Game of the Month. I don’t remember this game being so hard when I was a kid. Or scary. Frustrating at times, linear at others. Meet it where it’s at and it’s one of the best games on the GBA. 4.5 unskippable cutscenes out of 5.

This game lets the player experience a milieu of different fears including: plane crashes, the body horror terror of pregnancy, zombies(?), and being French. I give this 4 burnt matches out of 5.

I started this game last year when a friend bought it for me for my birthday, didn't get around to finishing it until January. It's a solid skill based physics game wrapped in the crunchiest ps1 vibes. You smoke a cigarette to see your score.

1. Cocoon
This was nuts. It felt like playing a DMT trip. Truly an amazing, mind bending puzzle game and is a jaw dropper on an OLED monitor. Took me about 6 hours or so to complete, definitely great to play over a long weekend.
