I’m the browser sometimes it doesn’t launch when you pull the launcher. I shake the table a bit and it fixes itself

:) For me it reminds me of the PC in the living room, for 'multimedia".

Because I don't play many games, I tend to only play games for which I have an interest about the development, maybe I've followed the developer, talked to them. That's only occasional though. But they happened to be very indie games.

I think actual indie games basically don't exist for 95% of players, whether they say they like indie games or not.

Same for me. The one pinball in this 'demo' could get you hours and hours of playing, you can always improve and understand more about that table.

And when you play, all the nuances come back to you instantly, you know exactly where and how the ball is going to bounce!

Same for me! Not homework, but things I had to do.

Yes Bubble Bobble on Atari ST was really good, well made in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Well it looks like I missed it.
I bought this game in 1995. It was an interesting sci-fi adventure game that looks like an action game, with pre-rendered scenes with fixed camera, and real time 3D characters only. Lots of story and reading if you wanted to. Pretty ambitious game.

If you say DON'T do that, DON'T do that, people are not necessarily interested to follow the advice but if it's a contrarian opinion and they want to find out why.
It is pure engagement, it has little to do with actual development.

I'd say no less than $20 for sure, but not necessarily much more either. Between $20 and $25.

So I made the smallest game I could.

This is sapito, a tiny daily classic roguelike, with a new level every day. Super simple, but finished! My plan is to keep updating it over time.

Pixel art by @datagoblin.bsky.social and the whole game is inspired by 1 of their mockups.

That's one more added to the collection of Nitrome thematic intros.
