I'm sorry for your loss, Jeff. Goose is cute.

With the 40-man roster full, who do you think is getting cut?
January 1, 2026 at 3:55 AM
Who is getting cut next, do you think?
January 1, 2026 at 3:28 AM
He could sneak through waivers.
December 18, 2025 at 3:01 AM
Agreed. Now what are the corresponding moves? I think a trade imminent or they would have already announced the corresponding moves.
December 17, 2025 at 8:38 AM
I take this to mean they won't be re-signing Verlander.
December 17, 2025 at 1:52 AM
All of that’s great but the clock is ticking and we need starting pitching.
December 13, 2025 at 8:19 AM
What do you think of these losses?
December 11, 2025 at 3:36 AM
Maybe they have other plans for Rodriguez. Where else could they play him? Right field? I think I remember reading he also played infield though. Not much room there.
December 10, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Agreed, I would rather they not give up any draft picks. It seems clear they're trying to build up their player development so they don't have to rely on free-agents as much, or be much more selective about free-agents.
December 6, 2025 at 6:34 PM
I didn't even realize he had been put on waivers.
December 5, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Did I hear you say Frank Anderson is going the DR with Vitello? What is his role going to be with the organization? Has Tingler's title been determined yet?
December 3, 2025 at 3:06 AM
Was Meccage in Nashville then?
November 22, 2025 at 12:07 AM
I'm a little surprised by some of these. If anyone was going to be non-tendered I thought it would be Brubaker. I thought Luccesi was one of their better relief pitchers toward the end. Knizner only surprises me because it took so long. I thought they must see something.
November 21, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Is Knizner so good defensively that his offense can be overlooked? Between him and Bailey there isn't as much offensive production from that position.
November 21, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Any idea how that's going to be structured? Meccage I heard was hired as the pitching coach. Could he be the director of pitching, or something like that? Had Tingler's title been decided yet?
November 20, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Is it unusual to be focusing on player development at the MLB level? At the minor league level, it totally makes sense. Inferring from the owners' comments, it seems they don't want to field a team entirely with free agents. They need young organizational players to produce now.
November 19, 2025 at 8:00 PM
That explains their emphasis on hiring coaches with player development backgrounds, wouldn't you say?
November 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM
As of the 13th publications like Sports Illustrated were confirming he was hired, but saying the title was still in question: "The Giants have hired Tingler to be a coach but haven’t specified a title" www.si.com/mlb/giants/o....
Jayce Tingler Says Giants Aren’t ‘Rebuild’ as They Pursue Dodgers
New San Francisco Giants coach Jayce Tingler doesn’t sound intimidated by being in the same division with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

What do we think of this hire? There theme is consistently player development. Was Tingler confirmed to be the bench coach? Assistant or Associate Manager was being tossed about as a possible title.
November 19, 2025 at 6:18 AM
He did what?

What does a director of baseball sports performance do?
November 15, 2025 at 12:17 AM
What about Garvin Alston?
November 12, 2025 at 12:12 AM
Is Garvin Alston coming back?

Was Eliezer Zambrano the fundamentals coach for the Giants?
