So many specialists and hospitals don't recognise Becker Muscular Dystrophy and how it affects women. We're called Manifesting carriers when often we can bear the same level of symptoms as men. It's frustrating...there needs to be be more research done and more pain management support for women too!

I've been having a hard few days with my back. But I put my smile on to run our @accessarts4all.bsky.social Christmas event, and popped a thoughtful snowman on the tree at uni.

Life as a spoonie can be difficult at times but good friends and a wonderful wife have made it so much more bearable ❤️

We visited the Leeds Castle Christmas light trail and it was magical. There were lights, projections, and fire 🔥

I took my manual wheelchair and it coped pretty well with the whole route, except needing a boost at the start and end due to the hill and camber.
