You'll be able to drop them in and steam cloud will fetch the saves

And a final thing, I hate the current lineup of clothes, they seem to be too focused on flashy runway clothes instead of clothes everyday people will wear. You also cannot place an image on a piece of clothing, it must be a texture for the entire material.

Finally some negatives as of right now: the world is empty with minimal interactivity outside of talking to sims outside, with the way that townies are generated and how the game handles it, same sex relationships are near impossible unless you make Sims for your character...

While it's the shiny blurb on the steam page, you can still import images manually as well as use blender and a plugin to import models into both BB and CAS. The AI feels like a stop gap until May when the modding tools will be released and here's hoping that you'll be able to toggle it off

Import system. Speaking of which, what about that AI integration? After doing some research, the model is ran locally on the host PC using content krafton already owns from their previous games as well as content krafton already owns the license to and copyright free materials.

Inzoi looks great and runs well, being a spiritual successor to Sims 3 and knowing how terrible that game still runs to this day, I was quite surprised. The CAS system overall lacks variety and I hope in a future update they add fabric types that can be dyed without having to rely on the texture...

Also I am also against ai too because it's a theft and disinformation machine, but it seems like krafton is doing their best to make it sustainable to both artist and dev until the full mod tools are integrated in May. You can also use blender and a plug in to put objs in the game
March 28, 2025 at 7:37 PM
(Curse you character limits!) of course it's up to you if you want to play the game, but it seems the devs are really trying to make it as open as possible while working with the creators of software to make mod tools for the game. Like there's a LOC3D and Marvelous Designer section in game rn.
March 28, 2025 at 7:35 PM
I looked into it, all ai sim interactions are disabled by default and if you go into the image generation section in the texture selector, it tells you straight up that it's using content krafton owns as well as a bank of copyright free stuff. You can also import textures and models easily

And Sega hired the Yakuza to kidnap someone's daughter and used them as counseling early on in the series.

Wasn't part of Sega partially owned by the Yakuza at some point in the 90s? I remember there was some ancient document from Nintendo basically saying "we're not owned nor will ever be owned by the Yakuza" as a dig at Sega. I'm gonna go look this up, one sec

Tbf, that's mostly so people don't stock pile 8000 and complete the pass in a day. I'm not saying it's a good concept, but it's a player retention mechanic so I see where they're coming from.
