People who rely on the same tired stereotypes about Black individuals do so because they lack the intelligence to recognize Black humanity. Their inability to see beyond harmful tropes reflects their own intellectual limitations and failure to understand basic human dignity.

20 years since Katrina devastated the Gulf and our communities are still recovering. Same systemic failures keep neglecting us when disasters hit. We deserve real protection and support, not empty promises. Honoring those we lost and our unbreakable resilience.

Today we honor Emmett Till, 14, whose life was stolen in 1955. His mother’s courage showing the world what hate had done ignited the Civil Rights Movement. His legacy lives in every protest, vote, every time we refuse “that’s just how it is.” Rest in power. #EmmettTill

The March on Washington was the beginning of a blueprint we still use today. From the Lincoln Memorial to your voting booth, the power to create change is in our hands. Democracy isn't a spectator sport. It requires us to show up, speak out, and vote in every election.

Parents shouldn’t have to choose between keeping the lights on and getting their kids what they need for school. Trump’s tariffs are making back-to-school shopping even more expensive for our families. We deserve leaders who actually lower costs, not politicians who make our lives harder.
