Dobnak made a postseason start for the Twins in 2019, in ALDS Game 2 against the Yankees. He took the loss after being chased following two innings, giving up four earned runs on six hits. The Yankees would sweep the series.

2026 will be Dobnak’s age-31 season. He’s spent the majority of the past several seasons in AAA Saint Paul in the Twins’ organization with brief appearances in the Majors. Definitely a project for the Mariners’ pitching lab.
