But the account wasn't about women's sport, it was just supposed to be aimed at female fans of all sports, which to Sky meant being as patronising as possible.

Pezzolano is to football management what Nicolas Cage is to acting - is he good or is he bad? It's unknowable.

Matt's for sure. Even with 3 quality CBs, we've been unable to stop teams from scoring, so may as well get all of our attacking talent on from the start and aim to out score the opponent. Semedo may be an unpopular choice over LK, but he's earned the starting spot for now.

The man works on levels we just can't comprehend...

Irankunda... what a mad decision to take him off! Surely PP must just be looking to get sacked for the payout now.

After the goal, on my stream, I could hear chants of "Of you're getting sacked in the morning!" and wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be our own fans. Could have been 3 down by now, simply atrocious football.

How do you think a 4-2-3-1 of Baxter, Ngakia, Alleyne, Keben, Wiley, Kyprianou, Louza, Baah, Irankunda, Vata, and Kjerrumgaard would do?

Doesn't seem like we have any sort of plan to get the ball forward or to break quickly when we win the ball back! Win the ball back on the edge of our own box, and then... 🤷🏽‍♂️ Milwall regroup, and then we just smash it up to no one in particular!

An A for sure. Best transfer window for some time. Definite upgrades in areas where they were needed, with a good mix of exciting prospects and experienced players. Crucially, we seem to have kept hold of our best talents (aware some countries still have open transfer windows).

I wouldn't speak too soon, Watford have a long history of injury crises, especially at CB!
September 1, 2025 at 11:46 AM
Other than an RB coming in, I can see TDB and Morris leaving, probably on loan. I think Ince will be harder to move on. I wouldn't be surprised if he's still around until at least January.

1. Irankunda is a starting option in the league.

2. Alleyne is a decent signing.

3. Kyprianou is a very capable option at CB, which eases some injury issues (although it leaves us light in midfield).

4. Need to sign another CM, CB, and, despite what the club think, definitely another RB.

Seriously, a 1st person waterpark simulation? Do you play as this man?!

Atrocious decision, but not surprised. Clevs worked wonders with a limited squad and had a genuine connection with the fans. Should have been backed this summer and allowed to build on what he started. Sad to see him treated this badly by the club.

Finishing with the same manager and in a higher position than last time is all I wanted. Plenty of issues to address and present form is shocking, but I would consider the season a success overall.

Am I seeing this right? Are there 3 left backs in the match day squad, but only 1 striker?

I remember my film studies teacher showing us this scene in college, first with sound and then muted, to show how music can change the whole intention of a scene. So much worse once you take away the "playful" score.

I rewatched 5 of the Sean Connery Bond films last year, and it's far worse than you would think.

When I had a cat, I used to line his carrier with newspaper for long journeys. It was the only time I would buy The Sun.

Glad to see Andre Braugher in the top 10, but did you forget about season 1 of True Detective?

Not a single person (especially Juno Temple) from 5 seasons of Fargo make the list?

And James Spader in Boston Legal should be in the top 20 at least!

Talk is cheap, actually back him with some recruitment!
January 25, 2025 at 10:07 AM
I've generally been pretty neutral on Pozzo, shifted more towards Out after the Edwards sacking, but sacking Clevs would push me all the way there. At the start of the season I would've been happy for a mid-table finish with Clevs still in charge, definitely overachieving with this squad!

He may actually get some games for them, what with Evanilson and Unal both being injured... 🤨
