I would much rather sprawl to be honest. In Australia (or at least Western Sydney) the goal is to squeeze as many houses as possible into as small a space as possible. Limited backyards, no front yards, side walls so close you could high five your neighbour out your window. It's miserable.

While fair, I would group that in the same pre game discussion as "this is my commander"/"this is what my deck does" and now "this is my bracket" so it still definitely deserves its own bracket at this point

Typically when people talk about "rule 0" decks, they are referring to decks that stretch the definition of a commander deck (like Joey from EDHrec with his multiple versions of the same character deck). All the examples I've heard for bracket 1 have just been goofy themes, not necessarily rule 0

Australian here. For me it's childcare issues, getting the time free alongside work etc, and cost. Tickets nowadays are close to $30AUD per person and none of the chains here have membership programs that reduce that by more than a couple of $. Location also doesn't help (30 min to nearest theatre)
