Spent most of my adult life in Tokyo, before moving back to Norway in 2023.

Experience and interest in international politics, sustainability, and energy transition, but rarely tweet about any of this.

I always RT chicken wings.
Hot sauce cooking hot.

The Fall Guy. Wow, that was surprisingly enough right up my street. Entertaining, well made, amazing stunts.

I have made a grave mistake.

I put my smart watch away for charging. Then I did the unthinkable.

I did a workout routine without wearing the smart watch.

What a waste.
It's like it never happened.

My old espresso maker has been in service for a long time, and over the last few months I have been fixing all these small issues one after the other.

Yesterday an issue occurred where fixing it would involve total disassembly. Finally time for it to retire. Replacement already on its way.

Should we continue to encourage kids to go to college ? Or push them to take up a trade ?

I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser

Qualifier- it should be a school you can afford.

What is up with AppleTV and all these great shows that I never heard about?

You know when you watch the first 10 minutes of some action flick, and you just know that this is going to be utterly shit?

That's how I feel about Killshot right now.

Apparently, Nat King Cole was my preferred artist of the year for the first time. That's new, but not surprising. #SpotifyWrapped

I remember reading Wool way back, thinking that it it would make a great movie or series.

Now here I am watching Silo, and it is pretty good. the chronology of the story doesn't go exactly as I remember from the book, but that's fine. May just be my memory mixing it up as well.

Watching Civil War on Apple TV. Went in blind, without knowing anything about the movie.

This is not what I expected. Not the action film I thought it would be. Maybe it's just the gap in expectation, but this is kind of boring stuff.

Yup yup. Thought Arcane was amazing. But I always wondered if people who never played LOL would feel the same way.
Finally watching Arcane. The score and animation is already breathtaking in the opening scene.

See you on the other side. o7

I still cannot understand why they won't close off car traffic along the main road through the Edo district. It's a great place l, but the sidewalks are narrow and crowded to the extent it ruins the experience.
Today, Kawagoe is a bustling mid-size city. But its Edo district provides the perfect “time slip” into another era. A must-see is the charming Candy Alley (菓子屋横丁; Kashiya Yokochō) boasting shops selling traditional and modern confectionaries.

December 1st, and finished the first Christmas movie of the season.

Office Christmas Party. It's really bad. But then again, I suppose Christmas movies are supposed to be bad.
