Yarn sampling these days! I have ambitions of spinning up yarn for The Shift cowl, which is what the mint/orange skein is for. The other is me playing around with texture with Cheviot and a slubby lace weight yarn rescued from Fabscrap

Can't decide how to spin the rest of this braid - plied with black it's so dramatic and will do a gradient/soft stripe thing, but I also like the subtleness of the fractal

Knitting continues! I finally finished my first Musselburgh (needs blocking still) and also finally started on my Scout Mini shawl - partially because I want to use whatever is left of the black yarn for my Heirloom Quilt cardigan. Any guesses as to how many projects I currently have on the needles?

Picked up some yarn today - going to pair this with either a rust or a chocolatey brown and make a Trinigan cardigan. Waiting until the Philly Yarn Crawl to pick up the coordinating skeins though, since I'm attempting to stash bust this year and end with less yarn than I started with!

What have I been up to? Making yarn and knitting things. Also taking care of my mom who broke her arm on Christmas, which has been taking up a lot of time and energy.

I have been somehow offline? idk maybe having a weekly knitting group and my sister and mom living down the street and neighbor friends has done this. But I am BACK to let you all know that I learned to spin.
