However much you wrap it in legal and academic minutiae, there's no mistaking institutional cowardice and capitulation. Documents like this will make clear who quickly collaborated with fascism. Hopefully, the consequences will come sooner than just the judgement of history.

Yes, not a lawyer but it seemed pretty clear even to me he's confirming that the emails represent new evidence of guilt.

How can she possibly think that him wanting victims who could look "even younger" than 15 isn't a glaring example of pedophilia? And how can she think that what she's saying is any way exculpatory for rape?

it's infuriating that there's a highly funded media machine dedicated to making lies and distortions sound like the simple truth.
seriously, how do you fight that? especially with legacy media so terrified of being accused of liberal bias that they've in effect created a conservative bias.

I'm not sure what this clown's doctorate is in (frighteningly, I think it's an MD), but he doesn't seem to have a clue as to how insurance works.

Let's not forget earlier in they year when Schumer reassured us that everything would be alright because he and the GOP exercised together in the Senate gym. These guys still think it's just deal making and old-boying. They lack a skillset for fighting fascism.

The entire, explicitly stated, point of this exercise was to get an extension of the ACA subsidies. They didn’t get that, didn’t get close, and accepted a slap in the face performative vote that’s sure to lose
That is by definition caving, not compromise, as they got no actually closer to the goal
