It’s tough because when the coordinator and scheme / cognitive burden appear to be that much, it’s hard to pinpoint how the defensive staff is.

SM might have a bit of shaking up to do, or it might be a coordinator change.

Just Wink gone, or the whole D staff?

80% charted blitz rate (per PFF). I don’t have any in game gripes here, but I was hoping to get a decent sample of no-blitz , yes-pressure success rate.

Even being like 50% or so blitz rate is asking for USC or Ohio State to have a field day (even with Maiava and Sayin having their flaws)

Paywalled. TLDR?

Are these mistakes you see either (may be multiple):

• Schematically and what’s being thought wrt scheme execution?
• Top-down , with poor upperclassmen awareness?
• Young players making young player mistakes

Agree on 2/3, Marsh may be needed the most.

I’m cautiously optimistic on Link and Sprague as a duo (more the latter). In terms of “how good / well coached are you?”, my long term concerns lie a lot more in the WR room.

I would say Bellamy is the common denominator at this juncture. Looking at it from all angles

Do you think the lack of athleticism on O (WR, OL the main culprit) is more of a long-term current-state personnel problem , or something that can be developed to be much less a concern?

Those games always fun, I love it when Wemby and AD duke it out. LeBron wanted to play the CP3 role instead 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, I see the vision with this spurs team

Fully healthy ^

One of the other three needs to take a leap as a passer to make it work, but that athleticism around Cade and defensive versatility could be tough
