A pretty solid summary of how I feel about the four seasons too. S2 starts SO strong and then just torpedoes itself a bit.
S4 is really dang good but there are definitely a few (Stormfront, Daedalus, Bound, and some of the Augment arc) that I didn’t enjoy much on first watch. Maybe that’ll change.

Missed this reply earlier. Dude it’s gone by so fast. The last year has been so amazing and my favorite stage yet. I’m going to be sad when we leave this stage. I’m not ready to have three year olds.

I think that’s my current ranking right now too but we will see if that changes when the rewatch is complete. Season 3 and 4 are just such unique experiments that work very well, but I have to hand it to season 1 to really making it feel frontier-sy

I quite like “Oasis” even though it is clearly an inferior “Shadowplay” retread. I like Trip standing up for what is right for Liana and can empathize with Ezral’s choice. It’s not lost on me that the “living” characters in this story are Trek royalty that are no longer with us. #StarTrekEnterprise.

“Rogue Planet is underrated and has a great score. I like what it has to say about one group’s cultural norms and how that comes into conflict with another’s. Stephanie Niznik is great as The Wraith. #StarTrekEnterprise

“Fusion” is a mess and a half. While it is important in the larger context of the show (and Vulcan lore), it’s uncomfortable, culty, and rife with consent issues. Not a fan. #StarTrekEnterprise

They’re 2 and a half! We survived the grading day taking shifts but the kids still feel yucky today. It’s been a long couple of days

Tomorrow’s a telework grading and planning day but the babysitter thing is the problem. Normally my mother-in-law watches them but she had to take a sudden trip to Florida to help out my brother-in-law. We don’t have any backups because normally we are the backups when she can’t.

Thank you! For whatever reason, this year’s first quarter is shorter than previous years and the schedule has been very inconsistent, so the normal first quarter stress feels extra amplified.

I need to do a proper Prodigy rewatch. I have the discs, but I’ve just been lazy about pulling them out. Our DVD/BluRay cabinet is Velcro strap tied close because of the twins lol, so it’s not a fun task untying it.

One of my favorites too. The bait and switch at the end is devastating but Rene Auberjonois is so dang good in it. One of his best episodes.
