Okay, it bugged me that I couldn't remember because I used to play this game a lot. So, I went ahead and found it, google 4wd Battle NES. Also found another NES game called route 16 while searching. I don't know if they are helpful but at least it was a good nostalgia trip for me 😅

there was a game that was kinda like this in the 300 game CD that came with VCD players. I don't remember the name of the game but it could be a helpful source, if you google 300 game CD I'm sure you can find the game in them
