Trump signed the PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THE INTEGRITY OF AMERICAN ELECTIONS March 25, limiting access to voting.

Just a reminder that voting and how elections are held is a state's right, and Oregonians in 1998 voted 757,204 to 334,021 to hold elections by mail, the first state in the country.

To Congressman: Please do not vote to cut money funding school lunch programs. All children should have access to food at school. It has been proven to improve educational outcomes for children. Feeding our children also supports farmers through the USDA programs.

In 2023, trade between the U.S. and Canada totaled $923B, with U.S. exports $441 B and imports $482 B, a $41 B trade deficit for the U.S. US pop 340.1 mil = $1,417 per capita; Canada 40 mil = $10,756 pc

Canada buys 7x more pc from US than we buy from them. They are not ripping us off.

We have watched President Trump grift his supporters and the government for years. But yesterday he turned full-on car salesman for Elon Musk and Tesla on White House grounds. Please support the ethics committee's review of the Presidential Ethics Reform Act.

DOGE cut off payments for the electricity, cell phone, and internet service of U.S. government employees who work in a high-risk area in Central America.

Meanwhile, DOGE apparently plans to spend $25,000 to install a washer and dryer for their own personal use in a federal office building in DC.

In general I do not shop at Walmart. I rarely go to Target anymore. Amazon is the hard one to give up, especially as I sell my activity books through Amazon.

To Congressman, vote no on cutting $880 billion from Medicaid. Medicaid supports 2 out of 3 people in nursing facilities. The average daily bed rate is $285 for a semi-private room. Or $104,025 a year. Not including medical or personal items.

Copy of Daily Letter to Congressman Bentz:

As you work on the budget bill that cuts $880 billion in Medicaid spending. Remember that your district OR 2 has the highest percentage of Oregonians on Medicaid (39.4%), 39,000 children on CHIP, and 9 critical access hospitals.

I don’t understand MAGAs argument that Musk already has all of the banking info because of PayPal. He was ousted in 2000.

Also, I don’t believe it is about knowing individuals information. It is about having the data set as a whole. Targeted marketing based on demographics for every citizen.

For all the people saying they want the government ran more like a business; Why are we cutting taxes?

I have never known a business to want to earn less money. Shouldn’t we look at efficiency but keep the income?

The cost of “Gulf of America” to U.S. tax payers.

To replace the maps in US class rooms: More than 98,000 schools in US X 4 classes (figure school usual cover 3-6 grade levels, this is likely an extreme underestimate) X $ 12.99 for a wall map (one of the cheapest I saw). Min = 5.09 million.

As someone who worked for 20 years in LTC/Skilled Nursing Facilities, this is so important to continue funding. Did you know the average daily bed rate is $285 for a semi-private room? Or $104,025 a year. This does not include medications or personal hygiene supplies when paying privately.
Republicans want to slash Medicaid — a death sentence for thousands of Americans. Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers.

We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.
