I do genuinely love not knowing what set is coming out next. The constant first looks, previews, and other promos are just so helpful in keeping the flow of product in a logical order.

I feel that one. It isn’t often that I feel old, but Magic players talking about sets in the past 15 years as being “old” hits that button.

That and Tolarian Academy combo being the thing that got me into playing Magic, but was definitely nowhere near what I was cutting my teeth on playing. No idea what that was. Just some cards cobbled from a friend’s collection.
