I was lucky to be at this match in 1965 to see Stanley Mathew’s last league game at the age of 50.
As a 17 year old Fulham fan I was obviously not happy to lose 3-1 to Stoke City at the time, but now I look back I realise I witnessed a bit of football history.
Anyone else remember this match?
