Each time, the breakthroughs are truly impressive.

Still, I can’t help wondering how all of this progress will eventually be tainted by opaque monetization. Even more than with social media algorithms, I worry that AI driven consumer nudging and new advertising models will muddy the waters again.

Great point. We forget how clean Google Search and social media once were, before ads took over. Nothing’s free, though. AI companies will inevitably chase profits. The real question is: what kind of price are we willing to pay? And have we learned from past mistakes?

Sure, patching potholes is commendable. It’s the least we can do to keep roads safe and drivable.

But wouldn’t it make more sense to plan ahead and resurface older sections of road, so we’re not stuck patching the same spots year after year? Right now, it feels like we’re just playing whack-a-mole.

Klopt, updates blijven komen. Maar het wordt al een tijdje vermarkt als Apple Intelligence — nu weer met de iPhone 16e lancering — en het is verre van dat.
