Heads up, you have taken the first two steps that will end in a longwinded discussion of you defending why you are smart, actually. Stopping now will save you time and a headache. I won't say anything more about this.

Considering how her actions undeservedly became national news, I have to say it seems only fair her attempt at rehabilitation becomes something close to that. Though I also believe reminding people she exists is a mistake and won't do anything good.

Seems only fair. After all, every single one of them believes they got their money through hard work and their enormous intellect, so getting that money again should be no problem at all.

I think this is because writing the prompts to get the desired results actually demands work from THEM, so they are far more forgiving.

These cases nicely show that "idea guys" always have problems with consent, no matter their level of success.

I admit I hadn't expected seeing a full on Roman orgy in a game trailer today, I admit.

So this is how I learn about a new Tomb Raider game now...man, I'm old...

Lots of rote pearl clutching over perceived disrespect for universal education/humanities in this thread. But I've got to be honest, if your college education runs up six figures of debt then the ideal of a humanistic education simply eats up the people it's supposed to serve.

We did a cycling tour of Toronto two years ago, that was rwally enjoyable. Would a double decker be that much different?

Funny thing about this movie: It reached Germany only after the success of the Le Gendarme movies, so de Funes became the main pull, turning the title into "Louis und seine außerirdischen Kohlköpfe" (Louis and his extraterrestial cabbages). "Kohlkopf" is older slang for a stupid person.

Totally co-co-signed. I'd go as far as to say that there are no weak NPCs at all in Dragonfall (though I would probably forget the weak ones, so, pinch of salt).
Hong Kong is also extraordinary for setting and tone, I feel.

Excuse me, but have you not heard of Eszet yet?
Yes, that's just a piece of chocolate you put on bread.

I think the mistake that many Americans make is looking at income, converting it to USD, and then compare how much bigger or smaller the resulting number is to what they know. Except that in most of the world, a smaller USD-equivalent amount takes you much, much further than in the US.

Maybe not that weird considering how big of a thing the books and movies were and are in Europe, particularly in Sweden and Germany. Like, culturally defining big.

Tower Dungeon IS pretty awesome. It's crazy how he can jump from dystopian sci-fi to mecha (Knights of Sidonia) to fantasy pretty effortlessly while still keeping the stuff that makes his stories HIS stories.

Many artists have a style, but Tsutomu Nihei has A STYLE, that's for sure. What is/have you got a favourite work by him?

Not to mention the unceasing gauntlets...

It would explain the discrepancy in perception when it comes to Europe. Where people say "I am going to Europe!" and at least subconsciously see it as one place because they can travel around freely, while many Europeans see another stereotypically ignorant American because of this.

"I am in a position to punish you with my WORDS ON THE INTERNET! Tremble as I call you...not smart!"

Sure hope he means economics. Might be the only area where a tool that has a more than random chance to produce wrong results might actually be an improvement.

Don't know why so many get weirdly competitive over this. It's like you've personally told them you are smarter than they are and now they want to show you up.
