We've found a solution that involves a new owner/admin, at least for a few weeks until we see if there's any way to run a forum, as a UK citizen, without massive personal liability. Foreign ownership may be a plan; Ofcom can block the site but not fine anyone.

It's actually the other way around now. LFGSS has found a way to stay open (new ownership) but, unless we can find a loophole by Sunday, yacf will be put into stasis until we find a solution. As it stands, I could lose my house if a troll joins the forum and posts something unacceptable.

They want us all to use Facebook, give up all privacy, and lap up the advertising. Or maybe it's just appallingly drafted.
