I hope he has no regrets about his sumo career. He gave it his all. His body shape meant his techniques were limited, and when he had kyujo I missed him a lot. As I do now.

Hoshoryu’s expression when he lost was priceless. Beaten by a ‘half henka’, he should have reflected on his glory henka days prior to becoming an ozeki.
Disappointed there was only one zabuton thrown though. 😉

Hoshoryu’s expression when he lost was priceless. Beaten by a ‘half henka’, he should have reflected on his glory henka days prior to becoming an ozeki.
