I’ve no idea how long mine lasted at least few hours possibly a day or so? I was I’m told on a 5s loop for many hours asking my wife to remove the neck braces…

Late to this but yes seems daft! Bit like the no mobility scooters in mandatory bike lanes that got changed few years ago?

Very much the type of roads that I grew up using, farmers did and still do use vans even on the unpaved tracks and so on.

In fairness it’s longer as was normally CTC, but yes seems to make more sense to what they are doing, a skim search seems to suggest that Cycling UK has a growing membership despite tough times which I guess could be what Sustrans are trying?

Cyclists Touring Club changed to Cycling UK about 10 years back both organisations kinda got caught a bit flat footed as cycling grew.
I’m uncertain that the rebrand helped though!

People are remarkably uncomfortable with disability and the idea that ones health etc isn’t forever!

I think I watched that? On Thursday at City Hall? Which feels very car centric sort of area. One of the reasons I decided not to cycle was parking or lack of it!
My big Volvo is relatively small by comparison now! It’s old enough to be served in US!
