You should ask yourself what your memories were from watching your first world cup. Mine was that Brazil not only played such wonderful football but looked great doing it. It gave me something to aspire to. Unfortunately. 😀

I donate in the Bay Area. The Pacific Cookie Company of Santa Cruz are the cookie of choice. All sorts to choose from. They are so good.

Wintergreen rub from my early days playing Sunday morning football. The changing rooms smell was a weird mix of Wintergreen and 30 to 40 men who had all been on the piss the night before.

Same! There was a Nabisco factory on the edge of our town that I went by on the way to work. Very distinctive smell. Everyone called it The Shredded Wheat factory. Gone now I'm sad to say.

The only thing that helps me pass the time away
Is knowing I'll be back at Echo Beach someday.

The documentary "The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" is well worth watching.

I have said much the same before. I spent half of my life in the uk. My dad was born in Tottenham so I didn't know any better. I've been in California for 20+ years. I watch the Spurs at 6am on a Sunday and I'm done by 8am. Then I get on. There's no follow up newspapers or TV pundits banging on.

When I first arrived in the US from the UK I was invited to a neighborhood get together. They all had ride on lawn mowers. They all knew nothing about football. I was completely out of place. However, one of the guys (a few beers in) went back to his place and drove his over. Jealous or what!!!
