I recall the summer that our local library changed the Pizza Hut deal from how many books you read to how many minutes. It forced me to put down the “kiddy” illustrated books and read Kipling and Poe. Crazy to think the effect it had on me now, but good people your boy was HEATED.

How long is too long before you pull a story from submission? I submitted to an anthology well over a year ago that does not allow simultaneous submissions, but they have pushed the dates back over 3 times. I really think the story would work for it, but this seems kind of wild
