I find it interesting that the Canadian governement has put less of a focus on sport and keeping people healthy, and instead have put there focus on making sick people healthy. I feel like an ephasis on helping people stay healthy could reduce the need for helping sick people become healthy.

One thing I find interesting is how the media has effected NBA players. Ben Simmons, an allstar level player lost confidence and hasnt been performing well due to hate from the media. As well Russell Westbrook has talked about the negative impact the nickname "Westbrick" has had on his family.

Draymond Green,a notorious hot head, once put Rudy Gobert in a headlock after a fight broke out in an NBA game. This was an extreme case of violence,as fighting is not a common thing in basketball, unlike in a sport like hockey. This led to Green getting a 5-day suspension.

I define a sport as a physical activity that has some level of competition against someone else. So something like esports isnt a sport because it doesnt have physical activity, and something like going for a jog isnt a sport because it isnt a competition.
