Been looking for something good on my patch but none yet. But getting better with 4 Redwingʻs passing through good numbers of Siskins and a few Redpole Firecrest was nice Dartfords showing better now still a lot of Stonechats Meadow Pipits in the water meadows and Goshawk Crossbills very mobile.

Not big numbers of moths last night but this Mocha was nice used to get Dingy Mocha was a colony not far from my house at BRIANTSPUDDLE but not had one for a few years now.

Best night of the year so far with the moth trap 50 species and some nice moths best was 2 SMALL MARBLED new for my garden.

A nice end to the day with 2 LITTLE RING PLOVER a first for my parish list in the water meadow at THROOP near BRIANTSPUDDLE. Also Green Sandpiper and Egyptian Geese with 6 goslings.

Walked my heathland patch at Briantspuddle this morning and to my surprise a nice male HEN HARRIER flew through. Also 3pairs of WOODLARKS but just 1 WILLOW WARBLER .

Juvenile. WHITE TAILED EAGLE from Swineham and even better to have the 2 adults circling over our heads at 11.30 all heading off towards Wareham. Also3 Ruff still on Piddle Flood with a Green Sand plenty of Marsh Harriers.
