PhD candidate in experimental sociology at @ipp-csic.bsky.social and @uc3m.es, researching how political norms are maintained among citizens.
This workshop brought together scientists from various disciplines, all working on how social norms permeate our social and political interactions. I don’t think I’ve ever learned as much over a 36-hour timespan - thanks @amaliaab.bsky.social and @luismmiller.bsky.social for the organisation!!

This is a very interesting read, thank you! I do wonder whether the reference to antisemitism in the title might be a bit suggestive, given that you don’t seem to analyse or make claims about antisemitic discourse among the radical left (which very well might exist). Curious to hear your thoughts!

Nevertheless, this is really disturbing stuff, and huge changes will need to be made to mitigate the risk of bad faith actors poisoning the well of public opinion research.

The reaction from mainstream politicians is equally depressing: Minister of Finances blames the leader of the D66 party for “politicising” the riots.

(Said organiser had already absolved herself from all blame, claiming that Antifa was responsible for the violence instead)
