I was in a coffee shop with a friend today when I saw this small but mighty group of “No Kings” protesters outside. They were getting a lot of support from people driving by.

Some news: My daughter, Sarah Thorn, is in this new play by Tom Hanks (yes THAT Tom Hanks) playing at The Shed in NYC until Dec. 21. Hasn’t opened yet, but tickets will go fast so get ‘em now!

And get @hanks coffee while you’re at it. Every penny made goes to supporting our troops.

Saw this guy “living” it up today with cards, whiskey and a cigar.

Saw this 1954 Ford Crestline Skyliner in a parking lot today. I talked to the owner. Apparently it was a limited-production model that had a transparent, blue-green tinted Plexiglas "bubble top" over the front two-thirds of the roof. Red interior. Beautiful car. #cars

What’s the story? Two unopened chocolate jello deserts left on the steps of a parking lot. Forgotten? Left for someone?

At 38 feet, this is the world’s tallest Uncle Sam statue. But is the USA standing tall in the world?

In my opinion, because of the current regime, the USA’s standing has shrunk. What’s more, the USA is being ridiculed. Its citizens pitied or pilloried depending on their POV.

Had a thing cut out of my forehead today. Hurt like hell. Still does. They’ll do a biopsy and we’ll see what’s up. Doc says it’s probably nothing to worry about.

Watching Field of Dreams for probably the 20th time. I cry every time. And he hasn’t even played catch with his father yet. Then, it’s turn on the waterworks.

Just stopped at an ice cream stand. Because it’s summer. What songwriter and band says “summer” unlike any other? Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys, of course. They’re playing on repeat.

God only knows where we’ll be without him.

I heard a director in a seminar say the most important shot to get is one of you pointing. You could be asking for a soda. But when you’re pointing it LOOKS like you’re a leader even if you have no idea what you’re doing.

Perhaps Vance, seen here pointing in Greenland, was in the same seminar.

Tonight, Feb. 28, seven planets will put on a show and align in the night sky: Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars. Five will be visible to the naked eye.

Here they are in rehearsal…
