4️⃣ Having said that, I don't see myself pursuing an academic career. Having studied and worked for +10 years in public policy, international development, and higher education, I have a huge passion for politics and policy. And I truly advocate for more professionals with a PhD in those fields.

3️⃣ While challenging, I love doing a PhD and working within the academic environment. My knowledge, skills, and general thinking are advancing in many (sometimes rare) ways. I also love the feeling of community in my school and the research centres and associations to which I belong.
