Rare Bear Reno Unlimited Class racer used a propeller from a Douglas Skyraider and the Raider’s Wright R-3350, a more powerful than the original Bearcat’s Pratt & Whitney R-2800. Such fond memories of this magnificent beast. Rare Bear set the 3 km World Speed Record of 528.33 mph in 1989.
