I just did not feel like going this weekend to a convention. The travel the expense... At this point I don't think it will help elevate my career anyway. So instead, I donated my convention fund to a young vlogger doing live feeds in Gaza. I feel better about my choice after doing that.

Good gods... There are couples in my experience which makes me thankful I am blessedly single. Good grief.
"What a lifetime ball and chain it must be to be with that person!" was my thought today.
I have dodged 3 such "marriage bullets" so far in my life.

Of course I write observations about real life. Herminia's rise to power reflects my real life observations about our society today. That a teenager on youtube often knows more about science and has more wisdom sometimes than a 60 year old man that serves in Congress today.

11 years ago, I drew Steampunk Red Riding Hood. Which follows most of the original story. Except a few plot twists involving the wolf.
The original story had the wolf as a stranger that you should not trust. And yes, never go into the woods alone was the general moral of the story.

Had a treat tonight. Clay pot chicken rice.
One of those dishes where people like the charred bottom part. That's the best part of this dish. The semi crunchy rice with that sweet soy and honeyed sauce. With Nido soup and ice tea. Half the clay pot big bowl went to the next door neighbor. 🙂
