It’s also what happens when you’ve trained your base to believe that anyone who mildly criticizes a politician with D by their name is a covert Republican agitator and rabidly shout them down, resulting in decades of (Bill) Clintonite politics permeating every level of the party totally unchallenged

Probably the wisest choice. Better to be surprised by your order being canceled and deposit refunded than suddenly being charged ~$500 more than you committed to with little warning.

They can’t eat that loss but their customers can’t eat the increase on a product that’s already a luxury-priced splurge when all essentials are exploding. If they don’t delay, anyone who doesn’t check their email every single day is going to be charged an unexpected amt they may not even have

The tariffs aren’t their fault but the fact they haven’t even sent an email to customers with pending orders, solid dollar numbers or not, weeks after they knew this was going to happen, when they’re supposed to ship in a week or two is very much their fault.

First batch of preorders goes out “mid-April.” 1-2 weeks? And they can’t even say if the price will go up or if they’ll honor what we committed to at order? Even if they tell us today, that’s no notice. They needed to warn via email as soon as this possibility arose, even if they didn’t have numbers

It’s very frustrating that I have to come here to get any word on this, even vague as this is; nothing on the blog, official forums just “word on tariffs soon,” but nothing else.
