That should be unacceptable.

How do you pay for a car, insurance, food, and other necessities on less than $420 a month? Not to mention, all of that money for rent is not building you equity. It's literally being thrown into a black hole.

I imagine it's their expenses. Many of them own a second home. But dispute dual-home ownership, if you're having trouble with $174k, imagine how someone is fairing with only $20k a year (which is a few thousand above minimum wage).

I don't imagine I need to spell this out; but, if you are going to raise your salary, which is more than 11x the minimum wage bc it's not enough, then you should also agree the minimum wage should be raised to at least $15.
