I like engineering, art, running and good music. Father, grandad, partner, volunteer firey, small business manager, EV owner since 2005 and climate activist.
Sunsets are becoming more red and there is brown smudge on the horizon at sunset.
It was not like this when I was young.
It's spring here so not from fires.
This is atmospheric pollution from, in part, burning ~100 million barrels of oil per day.

Australia is a laggard in the EV takeup race. Possibly due to large distances, poor infrastructure, a long history of ICE vehicles and a toxic political culture.
Methinks this will all be changing soon. Just like rooftop solar 😎

This could be a work of modern art. In fact it is a mining tailings dam.

Oh dear, it seems like Australia would be paying quite a bit for "baseload" nuclear energy.

The GM EV1 is the car that effectively marked the start of the Electric Vehicle revival.
Manufactured in the USA from 1996 to 1999.
With the abolition of the California air pollution mandate GM eventually crushed all of them, except this one in the National Motor Museum in South Australia.😀

In my lifetime atmospheric CO2 has increased by ~50%.
What could possibly go wrong?
