Mate believe it or not I’m having problems as we speak trying to find alternative colours. conversion charts are a minefield. Then once your sorted with your conversion trying to find a shop or site that has all the colours you need is a problem as well

Firstly I start with the colour call out in the box. Then try and match as close as I can to that. But my last build I could gone RLM02 ( 1938 ) or as I did RLM02 (1941) the earlier one is more Gray and the later is more Green. But I always start with what the call out says

Yes mate AK 3G acrylic, where I can I try and buy single bottles but I have bought one pack for my last build just because it had two bottles of right RLM 02 in it that I needed

Thank you Tom very kind of you to say so, I’m not confident enough to mix/thin paints for airbrushing although I’ve never tried neither ( I think it’s a dark art 🤣 )

I would highly recommend it Tom it’s a beautiful kit went together really well no real issues apart from seam lines. It looks more complicated than it actually is. It was Straight forward. I would build the wheels/carriage section firstly then the gun ( if I done it again )

Alright Tom. I don’t thin any of my paints just give them a good shake or stir. then I apply 2/3 coats depending on if I can still see brush strokes. I use a small amount of paint and cover a small area at a time rather than try to cover a big surface area in one go if that makes sense.
