New Commemoration installed at Marlow Cem yesterday morning under the watchful eyes on Eyes on Hands on volunteers. Thomas Couchman now has a fitting commemoration. Funny day as my frostbite got sunburnt!

Gutted to hear of the passing of Paul(Rick)Buckler. The driving force of the music of my teenage years(and still relevant today!) blessed enough to call him a friend later on.

New film on Netflix. The cemetery scene was filmed in American Battle Monuments Commission Cemetery at Brookwood. Was interesting to see an English summer turned to winter for the filming.

Major Andrew Todd buried at Brookwood. Awarded the M.C during WW1 for treating wounded while under fire. His Son Richard served with 7 Para during WW2 and took part in Op Tonga.He later went on to star in many films

Two from Brookwood.Both were killed post war during the Irish War of Independence. Sgt Reynolds fatally wounded in a gun battle in Tipperary.Sgt Herrod seen to leave barracks on 16/5/21. His body was found on the 26th in a river with his hands tied behind his back and weights attached to his legs.
