One trip around the sun since we sent TomCat off to his big sleep. Don't know how we've made it round without the little hooligan. Gone, but in our hearts forever. ❤️❤️❤️

(We didn't give him any gin)

Remember watching the Horrors being bottled off stage when supporting the Arctic Monkeys in 2007, they've come a long way since then. A fine live band with bangers to spare.

30 day movie challenge Day 4: a film that starts with The

There was one very obvious candidate for this one, but I'm saving it for later. Instead, I've gone with The King of Comedy and, Rupert Pupkin, one of Bob De Niro's finest performances.

Day 3 (ahem ahem): a film that made you laugh out loud.

It could only be Airplane (1980). I still remember the first time I saw this, Saturday afternoon with my mate Harry, I was about 13. We laughed so much we cried. I'm still crying.

30 day movie challenge

Day 2 (ahem): a film you watched over and over as a child

"As you wish"

I'll be honest this went a bit over my head on first viewing. Repeat viewings soon burned one of the most quotable films ever made into my brain. Rob Reiner was on a hot streak!

Come on then...

30 day movie challenge

Day 1: first film I saw at the cinema...

My Mum took me to see this, which - for my Mum - was an unbelievable choice. I was six and totally traumatised by the "banquet"!

"Arsenal haven't been under this much pressure this season"

So this was as excellent as I had hoped it would be. To hear the score done live added an extra level to a film which I've always found a profoundly emotional experience. T2 next year? Maybe...

Relieved to hear the Odeon in Beckenham will be open for business tomorrow, the London fire brigade have done a great job of rescuing it after a fire this morning.

Just back from the Emirates. Never thought I'd see a Guardiola side play like that. From the minute they scored, their only goal was to run the clock down - so, hahamaMartinelli! Scenes at the end were unbelievable.

Very conservative team selection from Arteta though. More creativity please!

#5debutalbums0004

This, for me, was and is one of the most remarkable debut albums I've heard since Tricky's a decade earlier. Dizzee never really touched these heights again in the LP format, but what heights!

Yes, Baxter, we'll be coming to Allbarone - just as soon as we've finished work for the day.

So, this was great. Everything you'd expect from Inside No. 9, guest stars, funny and, most importantly, genuinely scary. Also includes a keep your phones off section which should be used in theatres and cinemas across the land!

This was the San Mames in April for a league game against Rayon Vallecano. I'm sure they'll be relishing the visit of a couple of San Sebastian's favourite footballing sons.
