After catching two rabbits in as many days and having to rescue two other birds (one a dove that fell down the chimney), we're learning how to play Wingspan instead.

Pissarro's piling of paint over nearly the entire canvas gives the impression of peering into the painting, like the figure on the horse is somehow deeper below the surface of our vision that he would be otherwise.

Starting Cynthia Buchanan's Maiden on Steven Moore's reco in @greggerkesocrates.bsky.social's journal and already stunned by this huge Dylan quote (apparently there are more inside). Publishers these days balk at any lyric for legal reasons. What happened between then and now to alter this culture?

We actually had to get a second car when we moved a few years ago and picked up an old 2012 Mitsubishi i-Miev and it's also a dream. And super cute!
