I’m genuinely shaken by Jesse Plemons’ performance in BUGONIA. Absolutely unhinged and scarily recognizable as a character who has lost their mind from desperation and marginalization. He fully went there.

look I know being an engaged citizen IS the work of democracy but it is also the work of elected officials not to create situations where everyone has to be mobilized all the time to prevent them from allowing some kind of Dickensian horror on a Sunday night while you're in between loads of laundry

Last night, one of the trick-or-treaters had a book in her candy bucket, a book I recognized as one I dropped into the neighborhood little free library a few days ago. It was the best moment of the night.

I say this all the time, but I started collecting during the Wild West of vintage/thrifting. In the late 90s, I bought Abbey Road at a yard sale for a dollar. I found Donald Fagen’s The Nightfly at Goodwill for a quarter. It was an entirely different world.
Currently working on cataloging the vinyl record collection. Just logged 206. 😅 Quite a few left to go. #vinylcollector#physicalmedia
