Proud to join a HUGE community rally in Newburgh tonight as we fight to save our Newburgh-Beacon Ferry.

The NYC-centric MTA has failed us too many times — this is yet another reckless abandonment of the Hudson Valley.

We need to keep up the pressure!

If the MTA took over Rockland Coaches, it could help close our value gap and bring a service worth riding! Imagine tap on boarding, attractive and signed bus shelters, onboard announcements, bus tracking, and better frequency. AND it would help close our MTA value gap! Let's get on board!

We need better trains, but in the meantime, THE MTA SHOULD TAKE OVER ROCKLAND'S BUSES! It would provide modernity to our system, facilitate easy payment and transfers, provide accountability, and close our funding gap with the MTA. To read my article click here: bit.ly/4iGPIRw

Last Monday, Boston's Commuter Rail division unveiled a rail using a freight line. It is amazing to see a nearby American city building out its commuter rail! Let's Restore the West Shore! Follow All Aboard Hudson Valley to advocate! www.instagram.com/allaboardhud...

@rocklandrad.bsky.social is very excited to ride the Brightline today! I’m just happy to not be in FL traffic while smushed in the back seat of my in-law’s car.

The President is overturning the will of the people who live in the city and deal with the consequences of congestion day in and out. Locally, congestion pricing brought more attention to improving transit in Rockland than ever before. Regardless of what happens, that fight must continue.
The Trump administration has moved to revoke federal approval for congestion pricing, making good on a campaign promise to kill the tolls that since Jan. 5 have charged drivers a $9 daytime fee to enter Manhattan south of 60th Street: bit.ly/4gTzq5X

The MTA Chair admits commuter rail West of Hudson stinks but says there's nothing they can do about it. They can't do much to the rail infrastructure but they can do a TON - run the ferry at all times, make HudsonLink a free transfer from Metro-North, take over Rockland Coaches and expand service...
Commuter rail service 'stinks' in Rockland, Orange counties, MTA Chair Janno Lieber admits
During a hearing Thursday, MTA chairman and CEO Janno Lieber told state lawmakers rail service west of the Hudson River 'stinks' and blamed NJ Transit.

Good news for Rockland Coaches/Coach USA riders!

This is quite concerning. I absolutely understand the frustration but if RC & OC withdraw from the MTA I’m pretty sure we can kiss the only rail and ferries we have goodbye. The MTA & state definitely need to wake up & give us some relief but I dont think this is the way @jamesskoufis.bsky.social
