You may change your mind about there being a god when you hear this.

A chinese take away near Scunthorpe was recommended in the Guardian foodie supplement Feast, on Satuday !!

I have written my money to be sread equally among ten of my closest friends into my will when I go (most of them are older than me), its like a 'whoever lasts longest gets most' game, but in real life.

Plus all my guitars and amps (about 25!!) spread equally between my 2 musical mates.

As a new find, the Shabab on Wellington St Leeds does a great great (best curry i've had for years) Afghan Lamb on the bone curry, and good, cheap chapattis , sadly their other curries are just ok/good.

If you are ever in Brum, Abduls cafe diner is fabulous, kinda like the balti version of Karachi.

Run by Rafiq son odf the legendary Saleems on Ladypool rd.

If you saw Stewart Lee interview the Nightingales in that film recently, that was in Abduls, right opposite Hall Green Station

I dont think the onion bhajis/ pakoora are as good as in the 80's/90's, but still a sublime 'mucky curry'.

Sadly, was drinking in Bradford one Thursday night, tried to go to the Karachi, and it was shut!!.

Ended up at a rather poor Omars

I'd say Karachi is the best i've been to in Bradford, only been to about 10, International, Karachi, Omars, Kashmir, Sweet Centre, Shahns, and a couple of others now closed, and some over Leeds rd and Shipley way.

I put lentils (red split and channa daal) , plus pineapple chunks in my curry, but it was my version of a dansak, turned out ok.
